Estelle Metayer is a seasoned advisor, adjunct professor at McGill, and experienced board member deeply involved in strategic decision-making and corporate governance across various sectors globally. With a focus on mitigating strategic blindspots, she advises CEOs and boards on enhancing competitive intelligence and strategic processes, particularly during times of significant business transformation and aggressive growth. As the National Academic Director for the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors, she spearheaded the Board Oversight of Technology program and taught the Social Media Oversight module within the national certification curriculum for the past 10 years. Estelle is or has also been a guest lecturer in programs led or co-led by IMD Business School (High Performing Boards- Lausanne), the IMB (India), INSEAD (France) or MIT (United States).

Drawing from a rich tapestry of international corporate experiences, Estelle's board mandates span luxury, food, retail, automotive, and consumer goods sectors. Her mandates include sensitively managing stakeholders in the context of family businesses, including institutional shareholders. Her valuable expertise includes branding, international expansion, analytics capability building, new technologies and digital transformation.

Estelle was trained in the Netherlands, where she obtained her MBA and Drs. from the University of Nijenrode. She speaks French, English, German, Dutch, Italian and is learning Arabic and Turkish. She is also a commercial pilot and flight instructor.
